The Medical Billing and Coding Specialist training program provides with resources that are used by Medical Billing and Coding personnel on the job. During our course you will learn the essentials of Medical Coding, including evaluation and management coding, proper billing procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and other private insurance companies. This program will also teach you computer skills that are critical for any office environment. You will not only Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), but also professional medical billing software applications such as MediSoft and Medical Manager.

Furthermore, you will acquire anatomy and medical terminology, claims appeals, account receivable skills, and basic accounting skills.
