In the absence of academic degrees (two and four year colleges issuing Associate or Bachelor diplomas), certificate programs have become the benchmark of professional training in the computer networking industry. Both Microsoft and Novell, who are technology leaders in the networking field, have created a series of certification examinations, which are recognized internationally as the leading criterion of professional excellence in computer networking. Similarly, the Cisco organization has originated a testing process in Cisco routing and switching which is universally recognized as proof of expertise in this field as well.

The Computer Career Center has provided the necessary training to exceed the requirements for these certifications since its inception in 1988. CCC has graduated thousands of students who have become certified in any one or more of the following categories:
