HelpDesk Specialist

(720 Hours)

The IT Help Desk Specialist training course prepares students for a challenging computer technical support role. During this program you will learn how to maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot computers. As a part of the program students will also gain an extensive knowledge about various operating systems (DOS, NT, Windows 98, 2000, XP, Linux, Unix). They will learn how to create computer network and how to protect it against virus infections, hacking activities, and Spam intrusions. The Windows 2000 server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting exercises will be a part of this program as well. In addition, this training program will introduce students to wireless network communication (WIFI).
