Computer Use Policy
The Center’s Library/Learning Center will provide access to many resources supporting academic research and instruction. Indexes to newspaper and periodical articles, the complete text of many newspaper and periodical articles, encyclopedias, and other reference works are examples of the types of materials that will be available online in the Library/Learning Center.
Students who want to work on the CBT’s (Computer Based Training) can sign into the computer lab and practice.
ALL STUDENTS MUST SIGN IN AND OUT OF THE LIBRARY/LEARNING CENTER
Due to the high demand for computer usage, the following guidelines have been established for their use:
- Computers in the Library/Learning Center are to be used primarily for research and information to support classes being taken. Priority use of computers goes to currently enrolled students, faculty and staff.
- Spreadsheet packages and other computer application software such as PowerPoint and Word are available on the computers in the Library/Learning Center.
- Do not change any computer settings or download files to the hard disks of computers. If you need to make adjustments, ask for assistance from the staff.
- No food or drink is permitted in the Library/Learning Center and/or all areas that have computers.
